Pow Bao at Eatyard

As the saying goes: A Sunday well spent brings a week of content. Well that’s certainly the case when you spend a sunny afternoon at Eatyard.

This has to be one of the coolest additions to Dublin’s foodie scene in recent years. There are lots of exciting things happening in this little street food market and before you even walk through the gates, the smell of what’s cooking is enough to make anyones mouth water.
There’s a range of vendors selling the best street food in Ireland but I knew exactly what I was there for: Pow Bao.
Inspired by street food in Taiwan, Pow Bao make these lovely little soft steamed buns and have a menu of delicious fillings to chose from.



I chose the ‘Bang Bang Bao’. The filling was chicken with a peanut sauce, fresh vegetables and a sprinkling of chopped peanuts on top. Two words: Taste sensation.


These guys really know what they’re doing. Everything is so fresh even down to the garnish on top which they snip fresh from the pot when serving. Thought this was a nice touch. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else on their lovely menu!
